2: Which flash drive is compatible?

Below are the flash drives that were tested to work. Other flash drive might not work on the DVR.Sandisk:

• CRUZER MINI 128M~512M
• Sony: MICRO VAULT 256M
• Samsung: PLEOMAX 256M
• Jungsoft: 64M JUNGSOFT
• Transcend: ZETFLASH 64M
• AMD: 16M AMD LOCK key
• Kingston : DATA TRAVELER 128M
• Kingston : DATA TRAVELER 2GB
• AIGO: 256M

 3: How to upgrade firmware? (You may refer to manual page17)

1: First download the firmware, save the file under the folder “down” into the USB flash drive. Please have the USB formatted using FAT32 system prior saving the file. (The firmware has a file extension of  “.dvr”)

2: Stick the flash drive into the USB connector at the back of the DVR.

3: Go to menu “Setup > System> Firmware upgrade” and click “yes”.

4: The screen will show up a status bar.

5: After finish, go to “Setup > System > DVR information” to verify the upgrade. The most update version as of august 1^h 2006 is “I”. You should see the word “C 1.3.I ENG”. The older version is “C 1.3.H ENG”.
